L'Opera Garnier
L'Opera Garnier is the opera house of Paris. Construction of the opera began in 1862 but wasn't completed til 1875. The structure was designed by Charles Garnier during the rule of Emperor Napoleon III. The purpose of the opera was for the arts and mainly ballet performances. L'Opera Ganier is one of the worlds largest theater by acreage. L'Opera Garnier is 73,6 meters high.

Construction had to be put on hold due to the discover of a small lake under the opera!
