Les Invalides
Les Invalides is known as a hotel founded by Louis XIV in 1671. The construction of Les Invalides took about three years from 1676 to 1679. The architect was Liberal Bruant and was built by Jules Hardouin Mansart. The purpose was a home for veterans and a church for soldiers with daily masses. Les Invalides is 351 feet high from the highest dome and 643 feet wide.
